A Successful December 2007 Reunion…
It was on December 22, 2007, IHMA alumni successfully held a grand reunion. There was a mass celebrated by fellow alumni priests and a motorcade/parade around the areas where IHMA graduates live (from Kitcharao to Alegria). Sports activities then in the afternoon held in the school ground. And finally the most awaited part is the disco with live band performance of which some of players were also alumni of the school. I just hope that we have alumni activities like this in the coming years…

ang bag-ong director sa IHMA si Fr. Bob Colon man kono na…nakadungog ko nga estrikto kono sa mga policies sa school…and emphasizes on the profit of the school…as what happened in Cabadbaran Institute- an alma mater of my kin.
things to remember:
1. IHMA was founded as an apostolate to give christian education and formation to the children in the surrounding area of kitcharao- from alipao down to baliguean.
2. IHMA was a parochial school, but because of some parish priests’ indolence and parish’s lack of financial support and capacity it was eventually given to the diocesan school board. Fine…but not to the extent of making that school a business for the director’s benefit mostly.
WHERE IS THE CHURCH’S PREFERENCIAL OPTION FOR THE POOR? Why many poor christian students cannot afford to enroll in that christian institution? I think we must think about this critically.
A CALL and A CHALLENGE:
FR.DIRECTOR, please do something about this and not so much about your profit.
ALUMNI, please grant funds for scholarship for the school as gratitude to her, either personally or through the school.

IHMA should be proud of her product, and even should recognize them. To name some sucessfull alumni: AGANON-the first doctor of medicine, MALDO-the first priest, DAGCUTA- the first lawyer, and lots of engineers and CPAs. And to all others who are succesfull in their lives here and abroad.

hello all Fellow IHMAnians,, so sad kaayo napildi for the first time ato pambato nga IHMA Melodeon Band last Araw ng Kitcharao Band Competition, August 29, 09. Naka daug ag ag KNHS, pero sagdi lang congrats na lang sa nakadaug, better luck next time na lang….
