Congratulations to the municipality of Kitcharao for being one of 40 municipalities in Region XIII Caraga that received the DILG Seal of Good Housekeeping in 2011.
As reported through DILG Caraga website. Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH) program recognizes local government units that do not receive adverse or disclaimer opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) on their financial statements for Calendar Year 2010. Aside from that, they complied the full disclosure policy of budget, bids and offerings which need to be posted in conspicuous places, print media of community or general circulation and in the website.
These municipalities can avail the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) which has been provided under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of 2011 as a support fund to finance local development initiatives in furtherance of national government goals and strategic thrusts. These municipalities are entitled to one million (Php 1,000,000.00) PCF subsidy.
Eligible projects are those aligned to the following priorities: 1. attainment of millennium development goals, 2. local economic development, and 3. adaptation to climate change and preparedness for disaster.
Hopefully that Kitcharao will continue to be honest and straight forward to be the best and developed municipality in the region. Congratulations…
Hello Elsie, how can damian be in jail when you don’t file a criminal case against him. How can you call a person a criminal when there is no final verdict against him. As of now, he is still enjoying the presumption of innocence. So go… file a case.
Is this for real? Damian Galo is not in jail. We all know that Damian Galo, the so-called Municipal Treasurer of Kitcharao, openly advertises himself as a corrupt criminal by issuing FAKE tax receipts and FAKE letters in support of property fraud / land theft for anyone who offers Damian Galo enough bribe money. And Salvador Junio and Danny Merida still have not been jailed, all of which demonstrates that Kictcharao is a very dirty town, the most corrupt town in the Universe according to the way your town treated Tom and Vicky McCann.
