More troops deployed to Agusan Norte to fight NPA—Army.

Kitcharao – One of 40 municipalities in Region XIII that passed the DILG Seal of Good Housekeeping..

Congratulations to the municipality of Kitcharao for being one of 40 municipalities in Region XIII Caraga that received the DILG Seal of Good Housekeeping in 2011.

As reported through DILG Caraga website. Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH) program recognizes local government units that do not receive adverse or disclaimer opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) on their financial statements for Calendar Year 2010. Aside from that, they complied the full disclosure policy of budget, bids and offerings which need to be posted in conspicuous places, print media of community or general circulation and in the website.

These municipalities can avail the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) which has been provided under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of 2011 as a support fund to finance local development initiatives in furtherance of national government goals and strategic thrusts. These municipalities are entitled to one million (Php 1,000,000.00) PCF subsidy.

Eligible projects are those aligned to the following priorities: 1. attainment of millennium development goals, 2. local economic development, and 3. adaptation to climate change and preparedness for disaster.

Hopefully that Kitcharao will continue to be honest and straight forward to be the best and developed municipality in the region. Congratulations…

Happy Fiesta Kitcharao……

August 22, Kitcharao will be celebrating fiesta in honor of our patron saint Immaculate Heart of Mary. Hope all Kitcharaonon will enjoy and have fun with all the activities. For sure inter-barangay basketball tournament, invitational basketball where teams from Davao, Cebu, Surigao and Butuan are invited and many other activities. Hope peace and order will prevail in this 2011 fiesta…… Have fun…… Have fun…….

A suggestion from a fellow IHMAnian!!!

Below is a suggestion from a fellow IHMAnian Atty. Bernard Dagcuta with regards to an event that helps to improve our alma mater at the same time will help to have a specific date for a grand reunion. Please write your comment and pick between those dates. Thanks to all.

” I just happened to pass by this site and it interest me so much as my batch 86 is planning to host the 2011 alumni homecoming of IHMA. The said year is very significant to us (86′ers) because we will be SILVER JUBILARIANS by then. We hope it will be followed by the next silver jubilarian batch and eventually become a tradition. I would like to solicit your opinion to have it on a fixed date so that it will easy to remember for alumni of all ages. Let’s say every dec. 26 or every august 23, day after the fiesta. Common guys, your suggestions, even thebwildest ones, are most welcome.
Like the rest of the alumni, i miss also my heydays in IHMA. It’s ironical that our house is just a stonesthrow from our Alma Mater yet i have never set foot on her ground except during sugat or easter sunday mass. As president of batch 86, i am planning to institutionalize the putting up of alumni newsletter and maintain an official alumni website where we can share and exhange notes or simply connect with each other. All these and more would remain plans without our collective efforts. At this early, i am encouraging every alumni to save a penny and time to attend 2011′s grand alumni homecoming.

IHMA Fund Raising Event 2008

This to inform everyone that the scheduled Fund raising event set on September 26, 2008-friday will be moved on September 27, 2008-Saturday. This is due to the unavailability of the  Napalan Sports Center  on the said date. Hope that everyone will help in any way so that this activity will be a success.

Boxing Showdown is coming

The Paquiao-Marquez II refered by the sports analyst as one of the best boxing showdown of this year.

On March 15, 2008 (March 16 in the Philippines), Bob Arum of Top Rank said that it will be a blockbuster boxing show in the world which our very own Filipino boxing star Manny Paquiao and the reigning WBC superfeatherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez  fighting for the latters championship belt at 130 pounds.

The two fighters met their first fight last 2004 where Manny Paquiao brought Marquez in the canvass for three times but the latter recover in the later rounds and ended up a controversial draw.

Many people said it was a controversial decision but Manny reiterated in his column in philboxing.com that he will do his best so that no more reason that He will be cheated in the fight. But JM Marquez also said in their press conference that MP is not a Mexican killer because he did’nt beat himself.

In this fight MP assures through his column that he is in the best condition, shape and focus and will do the best to beat the mexican champion. On the other hand, many analyst believe that JMM is very much prepared for the fight that could give MP a problem in the ring because He had trained for so long.  

But the showdown is coming, Lets wait and see if who among them said the same as what will be the history to tell.

Karoling ang usa sa akong mahuna hunaan kaniadto kung maabotay na ang pasko.. Kuhag bato, kahoy o lata unya manganta sa matag balay dayon hulat sa sinsilyo nga ihatag sa tagbalay. Wala na namo mahuna huna ang kayabag sa among tingog, sayop nga lyrics, kaulaw, kung dili ang sinsilyo nga among matigom. Pagkahuman sa gabii, magbahinay igo lang mapalit ug marie na biscuit ug bobot na candy, apan ang kalipay namo daw walay ikatandi. 

Mao unta sad kana ang atong bation karong umaabot nga pasko, bisan sa mga kalisod ug krisis nga naagihan, kita makamao nga ma kontento bisan sama sa marie na biscuit ug bobot na candy sa kaniadto. Dili sad unta mawad an ug paglaum nga hinaot sa tuig 2008 daghan pag grasya nga ihatag ang atong Diyos. Makamao sab unta kita nga mag pasalamat Kaniya.

Malipayong pasko ug malamboon nga bag ong tuig sa tanan…..
